SummaryDesigns, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development. Job Description With as much of the following experience as possible: 1. Digital design - Microcontrollers, DSPs, EEPROMs, Flash, RAM 2. Analog circuit design - OpAmps, BJTs, FETs, MOSFETs, filters, transient protection. 3. PID control. 4. Power electronics, DC-DC Converters, SMPs. 5. High and low voltage design. 6. Schematic capture and PCB layout. 7. Firmware (C or C++).OO, Pointers, References, void function pointers and callback finctions. 8. State Machines, FreeRTOS, Linux. 9. Software : C/C++, C#, Python, SQL, GUI design( Visual C/C++ or Visual basic). 10. Communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, SPI, I2C, USB, TCP/IP. 11. Diagnostic tools such as: Oscilloscopes, DC Power Supplies, Signal Generators, DVM/DAM. 12. Code Development tools such ICEs and IDEs. 13. Circuit simulation tools such as Ltspice. Required Qualifications: - 5+ years of related experience - B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or / Computer Science Serious consideration could be given to: 1. A recent electrical engineering graduate with a demonstrated passion for electrical and firmware design. Experience Level with Business Tools Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. Education and Experience Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Little or no experience.
