The Team:

As the Sr IT Project Manager, Commercial you will be responsible for managing the portfolio of Strategic IT projects and initiatives under the GTO Roadmap to deliver an end to end solutions to support our commercial sales business. The project leader will be ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with senior leadership, IT teams, and business stakeholders to define program objectives, oversee project execution, and facilitate change management processes. Your strategic vision and leadership will drive the successful delivery of IT solutions that support our business goals.

The program will implement capabilities for Mattel to a robust Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud solution to support Mattel's Business

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr IT Project Manager, Commercial, to lead and oversee the implementation of Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud system across our organization and our solutions for our commercials sales business. The candidate will have a proven track record in delivering large-scale technology programs, excellent leadership abilities, transformation experience, and a deep understanding of IT project management and business process re-design.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Program Leadership:
    • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the global Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud system, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all commercial program-related activities.
    • Deliver multiple business capabilities across 150 markets across multiple time zones.
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, resource allocation, risk management, and contingency planning.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors, to ensure project success.
    • Manage and lead multiple streams of projects/ programs to drive initiatives to success outcomes
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to define program objectives, priorities, and deliverables.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Team Management:
    • Build and manage a high-performing project team, including internal staff, contractors, and multiple vendors and third-party consultants.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to ensure successful delivery.
  • Risk and Issue Management:
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the program lifecycle.
    • Develop and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project continuity.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure the Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud solution meets business requirements and quality standards through rigorous testing and validation processes.
    • Oversee data migration, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Change Management:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive management strategy to facilitate user adoption and minimize disruption.
    • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Manage program budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and transparency.
    • Optimize resource utilization across project phases.

What We're Looking For:

- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

- [Preferred] master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL).

- 10+ years of experience in IT program management, with a focus on SaaS Cloud implementations

- Experience managing budgets $5-10M

- Experience in managing multi-site or global Salesforce Cloud implementations.

- Must have cloud-based Salesforce Cloud solutions and SaaS models.

- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud systems.

- Proven success in leading large-scale, complex IT projects, and Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud implementation.

- Waterfall and Agile delivery models

- Strong understanding of Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud systems, commercial sales business processes, and enterprise architecture.

- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).

- Knowledge of Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud-specific tools and platforms required

- Familiar with Jira and Jira Align and Agile Practices

The annual base salary range for this position is between $165,000 and $195,000.
