The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Application Administrator I configures, supports, and maintains business applications, and provides technical support and solutions for business requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as an application administrator for WWP business partner applications.

  • Perform basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, report and dashboard generation, workflow management, and routine task execution.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data integrity.

  • Identify and report unexpected issues or results.

  • Resolve issues with support from senior personnel, if needed.

  • Provide end user coaching and day-to-day end-user support.

  • Perform data imports and fulfill ad-hoc data requests.

  • Support application releases and upgrades.

  • Recommend solutions or alternative methods to meet requirements.

  • Ensure full quality assurance testing and implement solutions for operational efficiency.

  • Configure and maintain basic process automation including automated processes, workflow approval, and email alerts.

  • Create and maintain documentation on business processes, use and flow, and training materials.

  • Configure and maintain solutions built in the application.

  • Evaluate, scope, and complete new development requests.

  • Follow all policies and procedures relating to application access.

  • Attend and actively participate in required training and/or meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation, WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training, culture/team based training, or departmental huddles.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on supported applications, and to work with teammates to identify upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.

  • Possess a working understanding of the supported application, with the ability to administer fields and relationships, workflow rules, approval processes, page layouts, security, validation rules, email, and custom buttons and links.

  • Possess basic configuration and design skills.

  • Ability to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, identify conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details.

  • With support from team members, extrapolate detail-level information into a general understanding of the request.

  • Analyze user requests to determine the underlying needs.

  • Process documentation skills.

  • Ability to implement technology-enabled business solutions for business partners working collaboratively within a team.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as a member of a team that is focused on fulfilling WWP's needs and objectives.

  • Ability to work effectively on cross-functional project teams.

  • Ability to influence others to gain consensus on the most effective solutions.

  • Solid verbal and written communications skills. Ability to present technical and non-technical information clearly and concisely to various audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability and understanding of the need to exercise confidentiality and good judgment when working with sensitive data or issues.

  • High energy level. Self- starter; eager to learn and to take initiative.

  • Adaptability and flexibility when faced with changing priorities.

  • Understand and adhere to project management processes. Support projects to successful outcome, providing excellent service to ensure project success.

  • Ability to use task planning tools.

EXPERIENCE

Requirements

  • One year of experience in administration or support of software applications.

  • One year of experience creating and maintaining documentation of applications specification and operation.

Preferences

  • One year of experience monitoring end-user usage systems and performing daily administrative and use support tasks.

  • One year of experience with customer centric processes.

  • One year of experience working in a SCRUM or Agile environment.

EDUCATION

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related business field. Equivalent combination of applicable experience, education, training, and certification may be considered in lieu of degree.
