The Opportunity:

The Core Lab Marketing team seeks a marketing professional who is driven by deep customer insights and driving differentiated solutions that bring value for laboratorians, physicians, patients, and health systems in the Core Lab segment. As the Marketing Manager for Core Lab Systems, you'll be responsible for leading the US marketing strategy and lifecycle management of the cobas pro, cobas pure, cobas 6000, cobas 8000, and modular analytics product portfolios. You will work closely across the broader Core Lab marketing team to shape the strategy and drive the growth of our Total Integrated Solutions.

This role requires strong collaborative skills given the need to collaborate with multiple business partners - Field Sales, Global Lifecycle Team, Corporate Accounts, Medical & Scientific Affairs, Insights, Market Access, Product Management, Advocacy, Regulatory, Training & Development, agencies, and other key stakeholders. This individual will represent the voice of the customer internally, leading the creation of both strategy and tactics that demonstrate how our products help fulfill unmet needs in the market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead Core Lab System Marketing Strategies: Develops and executes marketing strategies, including promotion, positioning, messaging, strategic investments, and sales support.

  • Balance Strategic and Tactical Priorities: Balances long-term strategic growth with short-term execution needs, ensuring alignment with annual objectives.

  • Marketing Plan Development: Creates and executes the Core Lab Systems portfolio marketing plan, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive demand and maximize customer and financial impact.Responsible for managing the budget allocating funds strategically across different marketing channels and campaigns

  • Brand Integration and Tactical Execution: Ensures a cohesive brand message across multiple marketing platforms and drives seamless execution of tactics.

  • Pipeline and Product Roadmap Planning: Collaborates with PM and stakeholders to develop short- and long-term product roadmaps and drives product management, including launches and in-market execution.

  • Customer Engagement: Supports key customer engagements, including medical conferences, IHN visits, 360 events, and City Events, in partnership with other marketing/product managers and MSA.

  • Compliance and Promotional Effectiveness: Develops compliant promotional tactics and ensures effective pull-through, working closely with Legal and Regulatory teams.

  • Creative Development and Media Planning: Partners with internal communication partners and agencies to create impactful creative campaigns and media plans, ensuring regular reviews and optimizations.

  • Assess new market opportunities: In collaboration with management. May lead to the development of a business case and present to senior leadership. Executes approved marketing strategies.

  • Collaborate with sales teams: To support key customer-facing presentations, instrument demos, and strategic discussions.

The selected candidate must work onsite at our Indianapolis office 3 days/week.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field

  • 5 years of marketing, business, sales or related business experience

Preferred:

  • Previous marketing experience is preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to confidently deliver presentations and effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences, including customers, stakeholders, and executives, while fostering engagement and addressing questions or concerns.

  • Strong understanding of laboratory operations, health systems, and the diagnostics business

  • Experience partnering with a sales organization and many cross-functional stakeholders

  • Regulatory and compliance awareness (e.g. USDA, ISO 9000, CLIA, FDA, GMP), ISO 9000, CLIA, FDA, GMP)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with various stakeholders - senior leadership, sales team, customers, etc.; ability to make the complex simple

  • Proven ability to influence without authority, including strong stakeholder management and ability to confidently lead a cross-functional team

  • Ability to travel as dictated by business need.

  • Proficient in utilizing Google Suite/Microsoft Office

This role is not eligible for relocation benefits.

The expected salary range for this position, base on the primary location of Indianapolis, Indiana $97,800.00 - 181,600.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
