UMKC's Innovation Center; SourceLink Job Description
SourceLink is looking for a skilled full-time .NET Developer who has a passion for and experienced in developing web applications. This position will be developing new experiences for our tools, maintaining existing web applications and supporting the end-users who rely on the tools. You will be collaborating within a team setting with other developers, stakeholders, managers, and end-users. Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 4+ years work experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Must know electronic computer programming; electronic data processing equipment and its capabilities; principles and techniques of studying work processes for new or revised electronic computer applications; principles of designing methods of processing data; technical report writing; and application of algorithms and mathematical modeling. Must have the ability to write complex programs and develop detailed program specifications; analyze data and situations, reason logically and creatively, identify problems, draw valid conclusions, and develop effective solutions. 2+ years' experience with C#/.NET or Java Anticipated Hiring Range
$59,738 - $90,000 commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. (Please note: While the range begins at $59,738, it is anticipated that this role will pay between $75,000 and $90,000 commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity) Application Deadline

SourceLink is an ambitious group within UMKC that builds tools to support entrepreneurial ecosystems. Our program was developed through support from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2003 with a single mission: make entrepreneurship easier. Implementations of our program are in many regions across the U.S., and expanding internationally. The web tools we provide to these communities include a responsive website, a web-based resource database search tool, and a client relationship management system.
