Position Title: Assembly
Wage: $16.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday) Join our team in Wausau, WI as a Production Worker and be at the heart of delivering high-quality, ready-to-eat products! In this essential role, you'll ensure food safety and product excellence by following strict GMP and HACCP standards while processing, packaging, and preparing materials with precision. Assembly Responsibilities: - Using job tickets and assembly drawings to build basic forms of electronic control products - Package, label and prepare finished goods for shipment or stock. - Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly - Record number of products tested or built on job tickets - Utilize ERP system to input job ticket data - Run laminators, steel rule die, hole punch, power cutter, laser, and knife cutter - Perform production-related troubleshooting - Cross-train into other areas of the department Requirements for Assembly: - Strong attention to detail for small inspections - Self-motivated, ambitious and energetic - Production and manufacturing experience is a plus - Able to be flexible to meet changing requirements - Able to sit or stand for long periods of time - Able to lift up to 50lbs - Able to use a ruler and caliper - Able to read and interpret gauges - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Good mechanical, math and reading abilities QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
