Clinical Trainer - Ridgeview

AllHealth Network is seeking a qualified Clinical Trainer to join our Ridgeview team. We are looking for dedicated professionals passionate about behavioral health services. The trainer is responsible for developing, implementing, and conducting learning and development initiatives and activities for clinical and medical staff. Job Description:

Clinical Trainer

The trainer is responsible for developing, implementing, and conducting learning and development (L&D) initiatives and activities for clinical and medical staff to increase knowledge, skills and competency in relation to quality, compliance and agency wide competencies. This position has a specific focus in dual diagnoses (mental health and substance use disorder) services within the crisis and acute care setting.



  • Enhance overall quality and compliance metrics by providing L&D opportunities that correspond with the annual L&D plan and established competencies.
  • Promote interactive learning methodologies.
  • Promote a positive culture of continuous learning among all staff.
  • Function as a subject matter expert on documentation requirements and electronic health record navigation.
  • In coordination with key stakeholders, including leaders and teams, assess learning and development needs. Utilize findings to develop clinical L&D plans.
  • In collaboration with Instructional Designer, develop custom L&D solutions to address specific learning needs to maintain or improve job skills.
  • Utilize diverse delivery modalities and technologies to enhance adult learner engagement.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create, organize, plan and present various forms of orientation, onboarding and skills training for clinical and medical employees across the network.
  • Collaborate with leaders to support the L&D needs associated with the agency wide programmatic and change management initiatives.
  • Travel between AllHealth Network sites in the Denver Metro area and Estes Park to deliver training.
  • Collaborate with leaders to support the L&D needs associated with the agency wide programmatic and change management initiatives.
  • Represent L&D in monthly committee meetings as needed.
  • Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures.
  • Complete all deliverables accurately, legibly and by established timelines.
  • Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee.



Qualifications:



  • A Master's degree in behavioral health, or related field.
  • Professional behavioral health license is required.
  • AllHealth Network does not employ former or current clients or family members of clients receiving treatment at any AllHealth Network facilities.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience developing, implementing and delivering learning and development plans.
  • Knowledge of adult learning best practices.
  • Experience with interpreting regulatory rules and regulations and data-informed decision making preferred.
  • Experience in crisis services is strongly preferred.



Skills and Knowledge:



  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills, plus speaking and presentation facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of adult learning best practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Must be a self-starter and have comfort with problem solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across the organization.
  • Computer skills including knowledge and experience of audio-visual equipment, MS Office Suite, and webinar software.



Shift/Location:

Travel between AHN sites throughout the Denver Metro area and Estes Park is required. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Pay Rate:

$67,000 - $79,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks' total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives as well as a generous benefits package detailed below.
