The Opportunity We are a multidisciplinary team within the department of Peptide Therapeutics whose work spans multiple applications, including the development of peptides as drugs for different disease areas, as tissue-selective targeting ligands, or as tool molecules to study emerging biology. We also innovate on platform technologies to expand our discovery capabilities and enable ongoing portfolio research. We're looking for a bench-focused scientist that will have opportunities to contribute towards the various stages of the peptide discovery and development process, including the identification of hit molecules from library selection/screening studies, validation of synthetically made compounds using binding and functional assays, and optimization of properties through re-screening efforts, structure-based rational design, and bioconjugation. Relocation benefits are available for this posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $101,400 - $188,200. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
