Position Summary |
Consistent with
NCAA rules, the Player Connection Coordinator establishes initial on-campus contact with potential student-athletes and works with assistant coaches to foster and improve relationships with those prospects and their families. This individual also establishes and maintains relationships with current student-athletes and assists with student-athlete engagement, well-being, and retention. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Be familiarized and compliant with NCAA and SEC rules.
- Ability to communicate and organize schedules.
- Ability to stay up to date with recruiting current events and keep coaches informed.
- Understand computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of the transfer portal.
- Willingness to work nights and/or weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands |
Stand; walk; use hands and reach with arms. Lift or move up to 20 pounds. Close and distance vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but escalates to high during practice and athletic competitions. Driving as needed to perform job duties. |
