Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Experience with as a staff member or student-athlete in a division I football program.

Consistent with NCAA rules, the Player Connection Coordinator establishes initial on-campus contact with potential student-athletes and works with assistant coaches to foster and improve relationships with those prospects and their families. This individual also establishes and maintains relationships with current student-athletes and assists with student-athlete engagement, well-being, and retention.

Stand; walk; use hands and reach with arms. Lift or move up to 20 pounds. Close and distance vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but escalates to high during practice and athletic competitions. Driving as needed to perform job duties.

Guide the coordination of recruiting plans with assistant coaches and head football coach. Facilitate meetings between head coach, position coaches, and prospects.

Implement the general strategic recruiting relations plan. Oversee all recruiting relations personnel and recruiting analysts. Serve as the on-campus representative on night, weekends, or holidays when coaches may not be present.

Ensure the proper and timely monitoring of the transfer portal.

Ensures compliance with NCAA, SEC, and institutional rules and regulations.

Other duties as assigned.

Establish and maintain relationships with current football student-athletes. Meet regularly with football student-athletes to promote engagement and retention.
