The Job at a Glance

Without the strength of the accounting team here at Unlimited Service Group, we wouldn't be able to offer the industry-leading service we're known for. We're seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the accounting and reporting at SAM Service and PriorityOne Group, two of Unlimited Service Groups regional brands. The ideal candidate will have experience as an accountant in a senior role. As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, this person will streamline our financial reporting processes and ensure our compliance to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The Controller will also produce thorough financial-status reports for senior managers to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth.

A Typical Day

• Record monthly accounting entries for the general ledger as well as prepare all balance sheet reconciliations.
• Establish (in coordination with management) financial and operating benchmarks, budgets and forecasts, program monitoring, and financial reporting on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Ensure compliance of accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all brands and all functions - accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, capital assets and sales tax
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.
• Serves as a lead liaison for accounting and finance teams during new business acquisitions

To Land This Opportunity

• Skilled in data analysis and using financial data to drives results
• Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting.
• A combination of deep financial acumen and strategic planning capabilities
• Proficient with financial software and tools and demonstrates technology courage
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to travel quarterly to each business location (Centennial, CO & Albany, GA)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen required

A Plus If You Have the Following

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager.
• Professional certification, such as CPA (certified public accountant) or CMA (certified management accountant) is a plus
