Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Analyst I to support logistics and supply chain operations for our client. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge in logistics who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic government contracting environment. The Logistics Analyst I will support a wide range of daily operational and administrative functions related to inventory, material handling, order processing, data entry, and customer service. This role is hands-on, requiring attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to follow established processes and procedures. Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day store operations including receiving, processing, and issuing materials. Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Process and track requisitions, orders, product returns, and corrections in GSA's POS and OMS systems. Provide professional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email. Conduct data entry and file management (manual and electronic). Support inventory control, order fulfillment, product placement, and stock audits. Scan and process materials, validate order accuracy, and support price and product challenges. Assist with generating reports (sales, inventory, transaction history) as needed. Comply with GSA's standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and processing guides. Collaborate with vendors and customers for order status updates, inquiries, and issue resolution. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred). 1-2 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or administration. Strong attention to detail and time management. Basic computer skills including MS Office and the ability to type 40 wpm. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
