Dry Storage Coordinator 2nd Shift (M-F) 1:00PM-9:00PM Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager and Shift Lead/Supervisor, this position is responsible for the preparation and staging of film and related materials required for scheduled production activities. Additionally, this role oversees the receipt and verification of incoming shipments essential to plant operations. But first, let's talk wage! - Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
- Utilize the production schedule to identify an adequate amount of film and box stock to pick. Provide and stage supplies for production usage.
- Restock all supplies needed daily.
- Ability to accurately utilize different types of computer programs and operate RF scanning and data collection systems.
- Receive in shipments of packaging materials.
- Prepare, pick, and ship transfers, returns, and non-conformances as assigned by Inventory Control and Materials/Ingredients team.
- Consistent and reliable attendance to maintain adequate staffing levels and meet customer commitments is required.
What You Have to Offer:
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety warnings and directives related to machinery and production processes.
- Participate in all required meetings and training.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Must be able to lift, push, carry, and stack up to 50 pounds per lift and up to 130 pounds with the help of another employee or lift assist equipment.
- Ability to perform basic math competencies.
- Ability to charge/change forklift batteries and sanitize forklift.
- Ability to perform backup to other warehouse positions as needed.
