Thomson Reuters is seeking an SEO specialist to join the Digital Activation team in the Marketing organization, focusing on enhancing organic lead generation and visibility for tax, audit, accounting, and international trade sectors. The role involves collaborating with a team of digital experts responsible for key marketing websites serving various industries.

We are looking for a customer-focused, business-savvy individual with strong metrics analysis skills to optimize digital experiences and challenge the status quo in a Fortune 500 company. The SEO specialist will execute tactics, co-develop strategies with senior personnel, and analyze performance trends, particularly in AI-driven search tools. Collaboration with a senior SEO strategist, segment marketing personnel, paid search specialists, and digital teams is essential to deploying a content-centric digital marketing strategy.

About the Role

In the role of Digital Marketing SEO Specialist, you will:

  • Drive SEO metrics insights, proactive tactics, and contribute to SEO strategy for your market disciplines.

  • Contribute to cross-Thomson Reuters SEO best practices and processes using insights from SEO tactical and analysis work.

  • Collaborate with digital, marketing, content, and development teams to integrate SEO best practices into customer-facing work products.

  • Develop data analysis processes to monitor organic traffic, keywords, and other SEO performance metrics, ensuring cross-functional alignment with the SEO team.

  • Create and deploy SEO data analysis reporting mechanisms, such as dashboards and reports, to track KPIs and team goals.

  • Provide data-driven SEO insights to your SEO strategist and Digital Activation team to support planning and execution that meets customer search needs and growth objectives.

  • Understand and own your disciplines' SEO needs, including customer personas and industry challenges, partnering with SEO strategists and marketing teams to offer strategic plans and recommendations

About You

You are a fit for the role of Digital Marketing SEO Specialist if your background includes:

  • Minimum of 2 years of SEO experience, with preference for at least 1 year in-house at a Fortune 500 corporation.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or Communications preferred.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of SEO best practices, trends, and metrics analysis, with experience in driving positive SEO results and business growth.

  • Familiarity with Google Search Generative Experience (SGE) and AI-based chatbot search optimization techniques is advantageous.

  • Proven ability to analyze and report on statistical data and metrics, effectively communicating SEO concepts across marketing teams.

  • Strong knowledge of major SEO analysis tools like Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, SEMRush, and Moz Pro.

  • Excellent collaboration skills, able to work independently and drive progress in cross-functional environments, with experience in Adobe martech stack and WordPress preferred.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $56,000 - $104,000.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
