Section Coordinator: Business Intelligence
Position Description Coordinates a section in a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program or departmental project as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and/or students.

Major/Essential Functions
- Triage the support for Techbuy. Assist with end-user's and vendor's needs related to TechBuy functionality, providing the best customer service, timely responses, and making decisions to best assist customers and maintain efficiency within the TechBuy system. Maintain a balance between TTU Operating Policies and Procedures and customer benefit in decision-making. Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact on the customer's experience in coordination with Procurement Services leadership.
- Communicating with departments and vendors on procurement support issues. Effectively communicate orally and in writing, including the ability to convey complex and technical subjects in a clear, concise, and positive manner.
- Oversee Procurement services website maintenance, ensuring compliance with accessibility requirements and TTU marketing requirements. Coordinating the update of information by working with each procurement team to ensure appropriate content. Oversee the training resources and Contract Resources page on the website. Explore opportunities for improving information sharing through the website.
- Assist in developing analytical summaries, reports, and analytics for all procurement functions. Maintain the annual report summary and ensure all areas are submitting the required reports by the deadlines. Guiding the team on using data to make business decisions.
- Develops and contributes ideas that provide innovative solutions to improve strategic procurement efforts. Meets regularly with leadership staff and other staff to discuss opportunities to improve processes and requirements. Utilize technology resources like Smartsheets and Power BI to improve efficiencies and data management.
- Maintains a high level of understanding of the procurement industry and related technology resources, is knowledgeable of the availability of resources, and is the subject matter expert regarding the technology resources.
- Manage and conduct training for campus and vendor stakeholders and develop pertinent training resources. Adapt training courses from in-person sessions to on-demand resources that departments can continually refer to.
- Represent Procurement Services by attending meetings.
- Oversee various systems in which the Procurement Services team operates such as Jaggaer and the Conflict-of-Interest System. Audits systems regularly for compliance.
- Assists the Section Manager in managing various projects for the department and works with the team to develop resources to support critical operations.
- Maintain testing plans and campus communications for changes resulting from new version releases of systems and products used by Procurement Services.
Required Qualifications Bachelors degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal six (6) years.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Jaggaer, Ellucian (Banner), Emburse, Dynamic Forms, RPA (Blue Prism), Cognos, Smartsheets, Power BI, Tableau, and advanced proficiency in Excel are a plus.
