DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Supervises, monitors, and evaluates assigned staff.
- Provides support, development opportunities, coaching, guidance, and task direction.
- Identifies and delivers relevant quality-related training.
- Communicates quality results to internal departments and suppliers, utilizes tools to improve quality and
process efficiencies.
- Leads the development of process and organizational change recommendations that result in improved
quality, increased effectiveness and cost reduction.
- Coordinates with Engineering to establish, maintain, and communicate policies and procedures.
- Forecasts work volume and staffing levels.
- Assists with budget and resource planning.
- Contributes to the documentation process, writing, editing and approving specifications and parts ensuring
accuracy and compliance to standards.
- Reports quality metrics to internal departments and suppliers, acts as a liaison between Nintendo and
suppliers on quality issues.
- Performs audits of contract manufacturer quality systems and determines process capability.
- Contributes to the decision of bringing on new suppliers to Nintendo.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
- Five years quality control experience.
- Ability to effectively lead a team of specialists.
- One to three years of management or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of quality control theory, industry quality standards, statistical techniques and sampling
procedures to the point of proper application. - Strong leadership and performance development skills with demonstrated abilities in employee
development, team building and leading cross-functional teams. - Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Agile, Access, Word, and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and methodologies.
- Ability to perform quality system and manufacturing process audits
- Associate degree in business, manufacturing, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Certification as a Quality Technician, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor preferred.

This position is onsite in North Bend, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $89,000- $142,500 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
