Aon is hiring for a Senior Administrator for our Licensing department.

This is a hybrid role, requiring at least 2 days per week in our Bannockburn, IL office.

What the day will look like:

  • Efficiently maintain and manage an assigned workload of individual/agency license
  • Work with Licensing Resource Managers and partner with offshore team to ensure compliance
  • Accurately data-entry of producer/agency information into tracking system application
  • Review and utilize all generated license to be successful
  • Communicate with producers regarding various license needs via emails, teams and phone calls
  • Resound in a timely manner to all requests from agents, insurance carriers, department of insurance and/or local offices or contacts
  • Complete required paper forms/applications, request checks, process online submissions, request additional documents such as: surety bonds, errors and omissions coverage, etc.
  • Work with other team members, producers, clients and local office contacts in addition to providing them excellent support and any follow-up assistance
  • Research, process requests for agent affiliations and/or appointments as necessary to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Successful process onboarding and offboarding of colleagues
  • Monitor and follow-up by email and/or telephone on any outstanding issues with producers, internal departments, state insurance departments, and/or insurance carriers until issue is resolved or completed
  • Responsible for the renewal of resident individual/agency licenses in a timely manner prior to the 30-day license expiration date(s) with no lapse of license. Ensure no reinstatement of license individual that would required re-examination
  • Responsible for ensuring the renewal of non-resident licenses individual/agency licenses in a timely manner prior to the 30-day license expiration date(s) with no lapse of license
  • Review and reallocate transaction insurance P-Card, on a weekly basis
  • Submit individual/agency information changes to state insurance department within the 30-day timeline required by the states
  • Interact with internal departments related to supporting documents needed to obtain supporting documents to complete the licensing applications/renewals
  • Contribute and assist with any team and special projects

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • 2+ years of office and/or administrative experience preferred
  • Knowledge of state insurance requirements and/or insurance license process a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details, adhering to strict timelines
  • Problem solving and the ability to identify and resolve issues related to licensing and compliance

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED is required

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $40,000 to $45,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
