This is a remote position available in the United States.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Software Development Mobile to lead our mobile development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Hybrid mobile development using Ionic, Capacitor, Cordova, Swift, Objective C, Kotlin , .NET framework, and Angular, along with hands-on experience in software architecture and team management. Essential Functions/Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Mobile developers.

  • Demonstrate steward leadership by prioritize the team's needs and well-being, putting the team first in all decisions and actions.

  • Enable team to design and implement scalable, high-performance Mobile applications usingIonic, Capacitor, Cordova, Angular, .Net and Azure services.

  • Ensure Code quality and maintainability by developing and implementing processes for conducting code reviews and applying best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals.

  • Develop technical leaders by providing technical leadership to groom and mentor emerging technical leaders.

  • Actively participate in the development of the application, showcasing technical expertise and fostering a culture of quality and innovation as needed.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all applications and provide regular progress reports to management, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in software architecture and development processes.

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and risk assessments.

  • Mentor and develop team members through coaching, performance reviews, and goal setting.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology orrelated field

  • 8 years of comprehensive experience in software development

  • More than 4 years of experience in mobile development, specializing in Ionic, Capacitor, Cordova, Angular, .NET, and Azure services

Preferred skills:
  • Proven experience in software architecture design and implementation.

  • Strong understanding of mobile security practices and experience implementing security measures for mobile applications.

  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, particularly within Azure ecosystems.

  • Knowledge of DDD, Event driven, Microservices architectural patterns is highly desired.

  • Understanding the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a mobile development team.

  • Experience managing all phases of the project life cycle, including running project prioritization meetings, post-installation project post-mortem meetings and a proven track record of multitasking, meeting deadlines and delivering projects on budget.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Mobile DevOps practices

  • Familiarity with Google and Apple Store deployment process

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Travel as required

Salary and Other Compensation Disclosures

The annual starting salary rate for this position is between $142,000 - $170,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 120 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule(vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law).
