Position Summary: The Senior Director of Medical Information and Medical Communications (SDMIMC) is a strategic leadership role responsible for directing all aspects of Pacira's Medical Information Service and Medical Communications. This individual is a member of the Medical Affairs Leadership Team (MALT) and contributes to the development and execution of the Medical Affairs strategy. The SDMIMC will oversee the development, execution, and management of communication strategies to support the company's products, healthcare professionals, and patients. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the therapeutic areas and scientific data, compliant Medical Affairs regulations, and strong business acumen to ensure high-quality, relevant, compliant, and responsive medical communications that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders. This position will oversee a diverse team, including internal staff and external vendors, ensuring compliance with medical information services and the development, review and approval of non-promotional communications related to Pacira's products and disease states. The SDMIMC collaborates with other leaders across the organization, including Commercial, Professional Education, Market Access, Compliance, and Clinical Affairs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and travel as needed. When travelling, the employee will be required to move between spaces, reach with hands and arms and stoop. Close vision and the need to focus on computer screen, use of hands, fingers, and wrist to type on keyboard and manipulate mouse.
