Finished Goods Handler

At Utz Quality Foods, we have expanded our Kings Mountain, NC manufacturing facility and looking for a dedicated Finished Goods Handler to join our Dayshift team. This hands-on role will involve material handling, operating a forklift, and supporting our packaging operations to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Move finished product from the packing area to the warehouse using pallet jacks or a forklift.

  
  
• 
  

  Accurately scan finished goods into inventory using scanning equipment.

  
  
• 
  

  Pull and stage orders for WDC, Repack, and HDC; transport product from Platform 4 to Platform 3.

  
  
• 
  

  Provide necessary production components as needed.

  
  
• 
  

  Perform general line support duties, including moving product with a hand jack and lifting cartons up to 45 pounds.

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain proper code rotation and integrity of product rows during pulling and storage.

  
  
• 
  

  Load trailers safely and efficiently.

  
  
• 
  

  Assist with daily and weekly cleaning of floors and equipment in the packing area.

  
  
• 
  

  Follow all safety protocols; report unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor immediately.

  
  
• 
  

  Work collaboratively with team members across different departments.

  
  
• 
  

  Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  
  

Requirements:

  Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

  
  
• 
  

  Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license.

  
  
• 
  

  Familiarity with inventory scanning equipment preferred.

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
