Position Summary:
Drive projects, processes and product development (for solid dosage form: tablets, capsules, softgels) by innovation and renovation of dedicated products and technologies from conception to first plant production while maximizing efficiencies. Deliver challenging, high visibility projects with independent decision making and minimal management supervision while coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and execution of the Product Development of solid dosage form.
* Manage an entire project or process within scope of responsibility and independence, escalating and cascading, accordingly.
* Communicate and influence project results to cross-functional team, project team and/or to management
* Establish close relationships to support the markets/businesses (Scientific & Technical Assistance) to improve performance, product quality and installing new lines
* Coach less experienced associates on product development best practices
* Establish, develop, implement, maintain and improve processes (incl objectives, KPIs, related documents), systems or products to increase performance.
* Responsible to follow and uphold all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Environment policies and procedures as pertains to role.

Experience and Education Requirements:
* BSc, MSC, or PhD in engineering, technology or sciences or equivalent
* 3+ years applicable science/engineering or related discipline

Skills:
* Formulation of tablets, capsules, softgels (softgels is a plus).
* Good Laboratory Practices and GMPc basic
* Direct mixing, direct compression, granulation, milling, drying, etc.
* Stability studies for pharma/nutraceutical formulas.
* Preformulating skills and good understanding of the engineering and technology behind the compression, encapsulation and coating process.
* Business operating systems and software (good knowledge of Excel is a desired plus)
* MS Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint, MS Office. #LI-SF1

The approximate pay range for this position is $85,000.00 to $105,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
