The Job

Position supports the DHCS contract, SNP Teams and Healthcare Services in activities related to the project management of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and to research, develop and create new SNP and/or Healthcare Services interventions and programs. Additionally, supports other project management programs, quality improvement activities including measurement reporting and analysis.

You Will



  • Actively support the achievement of SCAN's Vision and Goals.
  • Manage and oversee SNP models of care (MOCs) and initiatives. Gain an understanding of the business needs and develop a project approach to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Manage multiple activities and efforts related to SNP initiatives, partnering with resources in other departments and vendors as needed.
  • Plan, budget, monitor and report on the projects with project management tools. Identify project barriers and troubleshoot issues, proposing solutions related to SNP initiatives and activities.
  • Establish project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables. Manage resources and lead quality assurance to project completion.
  • Collaborate with Program Sponsor(s) to design and execute SNP initiatives, programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Communicate effectively and liaise between project/program sponsor(s), executive team, project team(s) and operation team(s) for all levels in the company.
  • Facilitate vendor relationship relevant to project work.
  • Work with internal business users and contracted provider network to ensure compliance with CMS and DHCS quality standards.
  • Prepare clear and concise presentations for committee and departmental meetings.
  • Update and maintain SNP program documents, work plans, and annual evaluations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Act as a liaison and support internal customers related to requests, tool development, report production and other SNP related efforts.
  • Develop, monitor, analyze and interpret data or conduct ad hoc analytics
  • Other duties as assigned..


Your Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare or equivalent preferred
  • Master's in Public Health, Analytics and Data Science strong preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
  • 3+ years experience in project management
  • 3+ years experience in managed care industry preferred
  • 3 years' experience in data analysis or information management preferred
  • 2 years' experience in managing a team of data analysts
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and SQL
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau and SSRS are required
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to multi-task
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to express ideas in a clear and organized manner
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple projects with changing priorities
