Position Summary
Responsible for supporting all company technology software and hardware applications and manage customer service inquires by providing prompt resolution to all support related issues through developing, designing, and testing code integrated into software products. Other duties include:
(1) provide technology system resolutions to customer issues; (2) support and troubleshoot customer and employee problems to determine if the problem is hardware, software, or procedural; (3) provide functional and technical support for business applications usage, walking customers through problem solving process; (4) properly document customer interactions while routing and redirecting problems to correct resources; (5) escalate client issues to appropriate resource and follow-up to ensure timely resolution to ensure customer satisfaction; (6) follow up on active customer service tickets, provide regular updates and ensure technical issues are full resolved to close service ticket; (7) update knowledge base through continuous education; (8) continuously review product methodology and functionality of the systems; (9) practice excellent customer service skills to defuse difficult customer situations; (10) recommend procedure modifications or improvements; (11) preserve and grow knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services; (12) utilize technical knowledge to write and complete software tasks and projects; (13) research new technologies and incorporates them into new systems and products; (14) test, integrate, write, troubleshoot, and debug software applications and on client sites; (15) responsible for the architecture and implementation of critical software components and games; (16) use company standards and apply design principals and patterns to develop robust software; (17) work closely with other engineers to provide guidance and assistance in the areas of software architecture, coding standards, and system related issues; (18) act as team mentor in a multi-person development team as needed; (19) participate in on call rotation schedule.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field. Two (2) years' experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, or Sr. Software Engineer, or any combination thereof. Two (2) years' experience (can be gained concurrently with the above) must include the following:
Application Development Tool: Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2019 Programming Language: C#, C Software Frameworks: Microsoft .Net 3.5, 4.0, 4.6.1, 4.7, 4.8 Database Development: Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008 R2, 2012, 2016, 2019 Web Technologies: ASP.Net, Web Services, WCF, Web API Scripting Technologies: Javascript, JQuery Cloud Platform: Azure Change Management Tool: Perforce Troubleshooting Tools: WireShark, Debug Diagnostic Tool, WindBg. 10% domestic travel & 10% international travel This role is onsite with no remote work option
