Markon is seeking Facility Engineers to support our NRO client at multiple locations across the US.

The ideal Facility Engineers will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks:

Ensure facilities meet power, space, and cooling requirements, including appropriate margins.

• Manage enterprise-level facility concerns to support current and future mission requirements and resolve issues early in acquisition cycles.

• Provide life cycle project management from planning and programming to acquisition, including advising leadership on funding strategies for infrastructure needs.

• Review and recommend improvements to facility policies, processes, and standards.

• Identify and document facilities benchmarks for baseline performance and consistency.

• Apply commercial best practices to optimize facility usage and activities.

• Participate in facilities working groups and Integrated Process Teams (IPTs).

• Recommend and draft policy changes for Facility Operating Directives and Instructions with an emphasis on standardization.

• Consolidate and develop programmatic and technical data for projected facility acquisitions.

• Assist in developing cost estimates for tactical and strategic facilities planning and budgeting.

Required:

• TS/SCI with a Counterintelligence Polygraph (Preferably with this client)

• High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree required (dependent on level)

• 2-10+ years of experience in facility engineering or related field

• Proven project management experience across facility life cycles

• Strong understanding of enterprise facilities infrastructure planning

Desired:

• Experience supporting NRO or similar government facilities

• Familiarity with integrated facilities and logistics planning

• Knowledge of federal or DoD facility policy and directives
