Short Description

The Director of Digital Innovation will serve as the organization's leader for shaping digital strategy and successfully executing projects to improve Cooper University Health Care's digital capabilities to enhance the patient and provider experience. The role will be charged with understanding digital healthcare technologies, including but not limited to those focused on digital front door, virtual care, contact center technologies, and patient experience, prioritizing the team roadmap to align with organizational initiatives, and supporting the deployment of digital tools from implementation to post-live support. The role will be accountable for ensuring Cooper's digital ecosystem is cutting-edge and market-leading.

What You'll Do
* Identify legacy or paper-based processes that should be digitized and transformed.
* Work with other IT and Informatics colleagues to select, design, deploy, and operationalize patient- and provider-facing digital tools.
* Lead a team of direct and indirect reports across a wide range of skills and tenures
* Direct day-to-day activities of the Digital Innovation team, including strategy, delivery oversight, budgeting, financial management, and human resource management.
* Stay abreast of the latest industry developments and consumer technology market.


Experience Required

* 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare, IT, or healthcare IT.
* Experience with core health IT technologies, such as Epic EMR, Microsoft 365, and more.
* Familiarity with digital front door, virtual care, contact center, and patient experience technologies and workflows desired.

Bachelors required,


License/Certification Requirements

Preferred - Project+, PMP, ITIL
