John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions Company, is offering a great opportunity for a CNC Machinist in Tulsa, OK. This position is ideal an entry-level machinist looking to jumpstart their career in a dynamic and innovative environment. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for utilizing gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements and operating precision tools, machinery, and equipment, including lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment.

First Shift: Monday - Friday (6:00am - 2:30pm)

What You Will Do

  • Operate CNC machines with skilled precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
  • Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
  • Properly and safely selects, aligns, secures and removes holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines
  • Recognizes, deploys, and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
  • Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
  • Must be willing and able to walk, stand, stoop, crouch and lift up to 50lbs

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Previous CNC machining experience
  • Experienced using precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
  • Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 2+ years experience working in a CNC Machinist role
  • 5-axis experience
