Accounting Department

The Accounting Department is integral to maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization. Our mission is to provide accurate, timely, and relevant financial information while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the company's strategic goals. The department manages a broad range of functions, including financial reporting, treasury, forecasting, month-end close activities, financial systems, fixed assets, consolidation and campus-specific financial oversight. By maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial data, we enable informed decision-making and uphold ethical standards across all financial activities. We prioritize continuous improvement in processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Our collaborative approach ensures we work closely with other departments, providing financial insights and support to drive the company's strategic objectives

Position Overview

This position will be based on-site at our office in Denver, CO. in alignment with our flexible work policy. (3 days on site required, 2 days flexible).

Vantage is seeking a thorough, detail-oriented, quick-learning colleague to join our Treasury and accounting team to support daily operations. You will directly contribute to and develop Vantage's treasury function by working closely with the accounting, capital markets, and finance teams to effectively manage daily transaction processing. Your work will be overseen and developed with the Treasury Manager, North America and other members of the team. The ideal candidate will be process-driven, detail oriented, and able to manage competing responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform daily reconciliation and processing of transactions related to Vantage's liquidity management program.

  • Oversee Vantage's investment program and track compliance against with Vantage's internal investment policy.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to management for cash positions, performance, and transaction history.

  • Develop KPIs and improvements to liquidity, cash, investment, and payment management with the Treasury Manager, NA

  • Track and manage new account openings, product implementations, and project requests with Vantage's banking partners.

  • Input payment information for wire transfers, ACH payments, and bank payment templates.

  • Manage bank positive pay and perform callbacks to verify payment instructions in conjunction with Vantage's fraud controls.

  • Research and resolve payment questions from the Accounts Payable, Cash Accounting, and Accounts Receivable teams.

  • Maintain and develop schedules related to upcoming payments, loans, and letters of credit.

  • Facilitate effective risk management as it relates to KYC/AML and ISDA Compliance for North America and be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of accounts at each financial institution during the annual KYC refresh period.

  • Assist with preparing and routing signature packets for wet or electronic signatures.

  • Obtain and perform initial review of transactional closing document sets post-closing and update our records accordingly.

  • Assist with administrative management of various treasury systems (bank portals, corporate credit cards, and treasury management system).

  • Additional duties as assigned from time to time by Management.

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in accounting, bank operations, or treasury.

  • Real Estate and Data Center Experience, preferred

  • Experience with bank liquidity management, transaction processing, and KYC requirements, preferred.

  • Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail and an ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Strong written and verbal skills.

  • Ability to handle fast paced mission critical transaction execution.

  • Impeccable integrity, credibility, character and ethics.

  • Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $70,000- $80,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
