Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Avanos is seeking a Senior Full Stack Web & Mobile Architect to spearhead end-to-end development across both web and mobile platforms. This role emphasizes expertise in Mobile development in apple and Android devices, WordPress architecture, cloud infrastructure (Azure), Salesforce ecommerce, and modern DevOps workflows. As a key driver of digital innovation, you will deliver scalable front-end enhancements, seamless back-end integrations, and robust mobile applications. You will also serve as a strategic partner in the company's digital transformation-collaborating with digital marketing teams and providing technical leadership across internal departments and customer-facing platforms.

This role will be required to be onsite at our Alpharetta Corporate office as well as at our Innovation and Development Lab, located in the Corporate Innovation Center at Georgia Tech in Midtown Atlanta.

Key Responsibilities:

Web Architecture & Digital Ecosystem Oversight:

• Architect and maintainboth public (internet-facing)andinternal (intranet-facing)websites used for product display, marketing campaigns, and team operations.
• Define structure and workflows for content delivery, user access, and system interoperability across internal departments.
• Managewebsite governance, asset management, and cross-departmental collaboration tools.

Domain, Security, and Compliance:

• Oversee domain routing and DNS configurations using CSC Global (or similar registrar platforms).
• Ensure reliable SSL certificate management, subdomain routing, and DNS record configurations.
• Implement and maintain cookie consent policies and support compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other global data regulations.
• Proactively monitor and mitigate security threats (e.g., DDoS, script injection, XSS vulnerabilities).

Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Systems:

• Integrate and maintain Ecommerce storefronts, theme customizations, and custom app development.
• Support marketing automation workflows via Mailchimp and Attentive, including segmentation, personalization, and analytics.
• Optimize conversion flows, campaign performance tracking, and product content display.
• Create and customize landing pages, SEO structures, and campaign-specific microsites.

Web, Mobile, and Backend Development:

• Design, develop, and support custom WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring performance and accessibility compliance.
• Build dynamic front-end experiences using React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and immersive tools like A-Frame.
• Architect backend systems using PHP, Node.js and manage data via MySQL/SQL.
• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native; deploy to App Store and Google Play.

DevOps & Infrastructure:

• Manage cloud infrastructure using Azure with CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
• Oversee environment configuration and deployment workflows for staging, production, and test environments.
• Ensure optimal system performance, redundancy, monitoring, and uptime.

Collaboration & Leadership

Your qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of full stack development experience (web + backend).
• 5+ years with SQL/MySQL, API development, and server-side architecture.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with custom WordPress development.
• Solid experience with Shopify, React, Node.js, and mobile app development (React Native).
• Strong knowledge of CSC domain management, DNS, and SSL configuration.
• Familiarity with cookie policy libraries (e.g., OneTrust, Cookiebot) and compliance workflows.
• Experience managing cloud deployments via AWS and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Understanding of enterprise intranet architecture and team collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint).
• Proficiency with project management in Agile, SCRUM, and tools like Jira or Workfront.
• Familiarity with marketing SaaS integrations (Mailchimp, Attentive, Zendesk).
