Integrative Therapist, Per Diem - Santa Monica Hospital

The Integrative Therapist provides support to the integrative medicine collaborative at UCLA Health. The incumbent willprovide integrative therapy services to patients (and occasionally their families). These services may include Reiki, aromatherapy, meditation, mindfulness, breath awareness exercises, positioning for relaxation, and gentle movement. Primary functions include performing selected patients' (or their families) services under the supervision of the Integrative Therapy Coordinator or designee and will work closely with the bedside Registered Nurse. These services are to provide relaxation and doesnotinclude psychotherapy. This position will primarily work at theSanta Monica Hospitallocation.

Salary range: 30.56-60.82 hourly

* Certification of completion of training in Integrative Therapy techniques (such as Reiki, yoga, meditation, etc)

* Minimum 1 year experience providing integrative therapy in an academic health care setting preferred

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Excellent organizational skills
