Job Overview:


  • The Shipping Coordinator will coordinate and execute all shipments. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate sound, independent judgement and decision-making coupled with the ability to think "big picture" in relation to overall quality processes.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all required paperwork correctly and completely for domestic and international shipments

  • Schedule shipments with carriers as required by customer routings

  • Communicate boxing requirements and priorities to the carpenter shop as needed

  • Cross train and support across Shipping Coordinator team

  • Complete quality checks prior to shipments

  • Review sales order requirements for current, upcoming and past due orders

  • Maintain accurate traceability for all records created during shipment of products



Requirements:


  • Minimum of 6 months logistics, retail, or customer service experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency

  • Organized and attention to detail

  • Strong leadership skills and effective team coordination

  • Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to work in a team environment



Preferences:


  • SAP or other ERP experience preferred



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

This position will be based at our site in Connersville, with minimal anticipated travel.
