Job Description:

Job Summary

  • Responsible for creating and delivering the foundation of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) products and services. Partners with FP&A Partners and Leaders to communicate business performance results and provide insights, align on key business drivers and/or implications to the overall business based on financial results, and document inputs/outputs and assumptions to update models and financial plans.

  • This Analyst will support Commercial initiatives, and they'll have joint ownership of our tactical initiatives tied to our Investor Day and JP Morgan commitments. This role also support financial forecast modeling and tracking of our largest initiatives, and they'll be a go to resource on their Team for pulling, processing, and analyzing data. This FP&A Analyst will also help Partners and Sr Partners on the Team create future business cases related to revenue generating priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Review financial results, comparing and analyzing actuals versus plan, forecast, and prior year to analyze the cause of variances, identify trends, and monitor impacts to key performance indicators
  • Partner with Accounting to provide input to monthly and quarterly financial close process, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely data and reporting
  • Execute, maintain, and enhance reporting for Companywide and Department financial reviews, business performance reviews, and forecasts
  • Audit and test financial data quality and outputs to ensure the highest degree of confidence in forecasts and reports for internal and external reporting
  • Improve and help streamline processes
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of financial principles and practices and how to utilize them, and the analysis and reporting of financial data
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits
  • Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing and assimilating data, including turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
  • Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Skilled in understanding and applying information to contribute to the organization's strategic plan
  • Ability to listen to, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with others
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Intermediate-level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
    • Analyzing operational and financial data
    • Building budgets and forecasts of future company performance
    • Preparing financial reports
Licensing/Certification
  • N/A
Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive market salary from $78,850 per year to $87,600 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
