Were searching for an experienced Coding Compliance Educator, Provider Services to elevate our professional service coding and documentation practices across the Lee Physician Group and the broader health system.

In this influential role, youll serve as a trusted advisor and educator for our physicians and advanced providershelping them navigate complex coding requirements, improve documentation accuracy, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations. Youll design and deliver engaging training, conduct in-depth chart reviews, and partner with clinical teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure were coding with both accuracy and integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Collaborate with the Compliance Officer to strengthen coding quality and documentation standards across Lee Health.
• Conduct professional service medical record reviews for compliance and accuracy.
• Create and deliver coding and documentation education through workshops, tip sheets, and one-on-one coaching.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for coding guidelines, payer policies, and documentation improvement.
• Partner with providers and leadership to identify trends and drive process improvements.
• Support systemwide compliance education and initiatives.

What Youll Bring:

• Education: Bachelors degree preferred (Business or related field).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of healthcare compliance or operations experience; 3 years of professional coding or coding education preferred.
• Certification: CPC or CCS-P preferred; CHC certification required within one year of hire.
• Expertise: Strong understanding of coding conventions, documentation improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Strengths: Excellent communication and presentation skills with a passion for education and continuous learning.
