What You'll Do

This role will serve as an individual contributor and be assigned to a designated product. This role will partner closely with the team Design Lead to implement standards and best practices and work closely with team members to support the development of a cohesive user experience across web and mobile platforms.

Primary Expectations

• Experience working in agile software development on a cross-functional team
• Able to navigate ambiguous requirements and environments to support delivery
• Support the development and communication of milestones; and delivers upon their area of expertise
• Actively participate in conversations and planning sessions with team members and stakeholders
• Willingness to partner with senior practitioners, and be receptive to mentorship
• Able to identify risks and communicate to leadership; provides recommendations to mitigate identified risks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills directed at both technical and non-technical audiences as well as stakeholder engagement
• Meet customer expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
• Progressive experience with design principles and relevant technologies, understands roles with which they interact and how their work impacts business goals
• Experience with design software such as Figma, Mural, Adobe or other designer tools
• Demonstrated experience delivering design work including discovery artifacts, sketches and rough prototypes, wireframes, UX flows, and high fidelity prototypes
• Experience leading human centered design processes and deliverables in compliance with standards and regulations
• Public Trust Clearance
