Position Summary: As our Engineer, you will be a part of a team responsible for working closely with management, co-workers, and vendors to meet production requirements. You will support the lean process to promote cost reductions and maximize profitable growth, provide excellent customer service and quality, and promote continual improvement and safety. Qualifications & Requirements:
- Demonstrate knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and techniques for efficient manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for products, incorporating raw materials and components used in production.
- Create clear and concise technical documentation, including work instructions and process guidelines.
- Analyze production issues or process inefficiencies and develop effective solutions.
- Apply lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
- Interpret and work with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit designs.
- Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and molds to support production requirements.
- Utilize manufacturing and design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks to 2D create drawings and 3D models.
- Implement and manage Engineering Change Requests/Notices (ECR/ECN) effectively.
- Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in field of Engineering (Electrical strongly preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally involving electrical products.
- Proficient in technical writing and problem-solving.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for electrical and electromechanical products.
- Collaborating with other departments to meet customer demand in timely manner
- Internal tools & adapter designs for continuous improvement
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
- The Engineer collaborates across Winchester in a way that leads by example, holds people accountable, and utilizes data to make informed decisions. They work with management, employees, vendors, and customers to have a positive impact on the organization
- Support an Engineering strategy that aligns with Ruggedized short- & long-term growth goals and compliments all departments.
- Collaborate frequently with other departments to ensure priorities for OTD are met, and customer communication is supported.
- Support Engineering team to make informed product and process decisions and improvements.
