Business Controller
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (On-Site)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 annually (DOE)
Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus
Travel: Up to 25%
Reports To: Director of Data Planning & Analysis

MSHS Pacific Power Group, an industrial services company is searching for a finance and accounting professional that can help grow the company into a global player, exceeding $500M in sales. In this role:

  • You will be responsible for overseeing the P&L and Balance Sheet, ensuring financial accuracy, and driving profitability.
  • You will be involved in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to provide actionable insights on business performance, cost control, and margin improvement.
  • You will partner with leadership to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, offering strategic recommendations to enhance financial efficiency.
  • You will analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), variances, and cost structures, developing initiatives to optimize spending and maximize returns.
  • You will focus on improving operational efficiency, identifying areas for cost reduction, and implementing data-driven strategies for margin growth.
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and finance teams to align financial goals with business objectives.

Preferred Work Experience and Attributes:

  • Recent experience supporting C-level executives in fast-paced, growth-minded companies.
  • Relevant experience in intense, do-it-yourself, start-up environments.
  • Board management experience is highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience; bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/business or equivalent; MBA or professional designations not required but appreciated.

Travel and Mobility:

  • Flexibility to travel within the US and internationally as required to assist the CFO and build relationships throughout the organization.
  • The right individual will need to work from the Fort Lauderdale, FL office.
