Data should be in a ready-to-use form that creates a single version of the truth across all data consumers including business users data scientists and Technology. Ready-to-use data can be for both real time and batch data processes and may include unstructured data. - Design and implement robust data architecture solutions to support business objectives in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Utilize Databricks to develop scalable data processing pipelines that enhance data analytics capabilities.
- Leverage Trillium for data quality management ensuring accuracy and consistency across datasets.
- Integrate External Scheduler to automate data workflows improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
- Manage Oracle and Teradata databases optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity.
- Employ Informatica Powercenter for ETL processes facilitating seamless data integration and transformation.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify and resolve potential issues maintaining system reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements safeguarding sensitive information.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for all architectural solutions supporting ongoing maintenance and scalability.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders translating technical concepts into actionable insights.
Qualifications

- Possess a deep understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance processes and workflows.
- Demonstrate expertise in Databricks Trillium External Scheduler Oracle Teradata and Informatica Powercenter.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a hybrid work model.
- Showcase excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal.
- Have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex data architecture projects.
- Display a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
Application Expired date : 5/10/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $[125,000 - 135,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
