Position Description

We are seeking a Director of Regional Marketing, Infectious Disease - North America, based in Germantown (GTN), Maryland, to play a pivotal role in transforming microbiology through multiplex syndromic testing, with a strategic focus on QIAGEN's flagship platform, QIAstat-Dx.

This role is ideal for a passionate marketer with a strong foundation in molecular microbiology and hands-on experience in syndromic testing. You will lead strategic marketing execution across the North American region, driving adoption of cutting-edge diagnostics that impact real-world patient outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead go-to-market strategy and regional marketing execution for QIAstat-Dx and other key diagnostics platforms.

- Translate global strategy into regionally tailored marketing plans, aligned with customer needs and local healthcare dynamics.

- Act as the Voice of the Customer, capturing clinical, commercial, and competitive insights to shape product positioning and strategic direction.

- Drive product launches, including sales enablement, training, and customer-facing campaigns.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Global Marketing to build engagement programs and drive adoption.

- Develop and implement value-based pricing strategies reflecting the product's clinical and economic value in the North American market.

- Monitor KPIs and continuously optimize marketing efforts for stronger impact and ROI.


Position Requirements

- Background in molecular microbiology or life sciences, with a deep understanding of syndromic testing.

- 5-8 years of experience in clinical diagnostics marketing or commercial roles, preferably within IVD.

- Strategic, cross-functional collaborator with a track record of successful product launches and commercial impact.

- Passionate about advancing patient care through diagnostic innovation.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a bonus plan and generous benefits.
