About the Program:
The 10-week Zayo Summer Internship Program is designed to cultivate the next generation of telecommunications professionals. Interns will gain meaningful, hands-on experience within a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative environment. Our goal is to empower, develop, and connect our interns while fostering fresh perspectives and ideas that will drive our organization forward.

Duration: 10 weeks
Location: Denver-based preferred, based on hiring team's needs.

Zayo is seeking a dynamic and motivated People & Culture (P&C) Intern to join our team for a 10-week internship. As a People & Culture (P&C) Intern , you will gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of Human Resources, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Compensation. This internship offers an opportunity to explore how HR drives business success by supporting employees, shaping company culture, and implementing key initiatives.

You will engage in real-world projects, collaborate with HR professionals, and develop foundational skills in recruitment, employee learning, organizational development, and compensation analysis. By the end of the program, you will have valuable experience across multiple HR functions and a final project to showcase your learnings.

Responsibilities:

Rotate through functional areas of People & Culture. Some of the areas where you will be exposed to:

Talent Acquisition

  • Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.

  • Assist with candidate experience initiatives.

Talent Development

  • Help curate LinkedIn Learning courses for leadership development and employee learning programs.

  • Assist in designing training materials.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Learn about compensation structure and streamline job descriptions.

  • Assist in creating communication and training materials to educate employees on total rewards programs.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must have completed their sophomore year and be enrolled in a degree or certificate seeking program for the fall semester of 2025.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Workday HRIS is a plus.

  • Passionate about HR, employee experience, and organizational development.

Estimated Base Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 USD/hour.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance and 401(k).

The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
