Security Officer - Hotel Patrols

As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrols in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting guests and staff, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to guests and staff by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting guests and staff during incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to guests and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
