As a Security Professional Armed Driver Licensed in Land O Lakes, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post requires you to carry authorized equipment and respond promptly to incidents, while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will work collaboratively with others, upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity, and contribute to a positive environment by putting people first in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and adherence to established protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site requirements.
• Collaborate with local authorities and emergency responders when necessary.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be designated as armed and qualified to carry handcuffs, pepper spray, and a sidearm.
• A valid driver's license in the state of employment is required.
• Graduation from a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program, or an equivalent program, is required.
• A valid Corrections Officer License is required.
• A valid Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
• A valid Florida Armed Security Professional License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
