PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Senior I&E Quality Control Inspector plays a vital role in delivering Worley's commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. This position ensures all instrumentation and electrical work meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Through rigorous inspection and verification processes, the role safeguards the integrity and reliability of project outcomes-contributing directly to the delivery of safe, sustainable, and technically sound solutions for customers across the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors.

This role upholds Worley's promise of being a trusted, straight-talking partner who drives sustainable transformation by ensuring every phase of the project lifecycle is executed to exacting quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits of instrumentation and electrical installations to ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Document inspection findings clearly and completely, maintaining accurate records that support traceability and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment to support precision and reliability across all quality control activities.
  • Actively contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify, communicate, and resolve quality-related issues, ensuring that projects meet performance and sustainability expectations.
  • Support project execution strategies that align with Worley's ambition to lead in sustainable solutions, helping to ensure long-term value creation for customers.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSET



  • Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience in industrial construction, maintenance, or project delivery, ideally within the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of instrumentation and electrical quality control procedures, including the ability to interpret and apply industry codes and technical specifications.
  • Certification: Possession of a valid NCCER Certified Plus credential, verified through either written or performance-based assessments.
  • Inspection Proficiency: Strong ability to detect non-conformance issues with a detail-oriented approach that ensures consistency and accuracy in all inspection tasks.
  • Physical Capability: Comfortable with the physical demands of industrial environments, including tasks that involve climbing, kneeling, lifting, and extended standing.
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in diverse teams, communicating constructively to address challenges and maintain alignment with project goals.
  • Sustainability Commitment: A clear alignment with Worley's purpose of delivering a more sustainable world, demonstrated through a dedication to high-quality project delivery that supports safe, efficient, and long-term asset viability.
