Job Description

DDN is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Americas Named Channel Director to manage and grow strategic partnerships with approximately 5 to 10 high-impact Value Added Resellers (VARs) across the U.S. This role is laser-focused on deepening trust, strengthening collaboration, and unlocking new revenue opportunities by delivering an exceptional partner experience and enabling long-term mutual success.

The ideal candidate brings a consultative approach, deep understanding of the VAR business model, and a passion for building meaningful, results-oriented partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Engagement

    Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a defined set of 10 -12 strategic VAR partners.
  • Build tailored account plans focused on partner enablement, pipeline growth, and long-term alignment with DDN's solutions.
  • Cultivate executive-level relationships to foster trust, transparency, and shared success.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess progress, identify new opportunities, and ensure strategic alignment.

Revenue Growth & Partner Success

  • Drive incremental revenue through joint opportunity development, co-selling, and partner-led demand generation.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to support partner pursuits and accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Track, forecast, and report on revenue performance tied to strategic partner accounts.

Enablement & Partner Experience

  • Deliver a world-class partner experience through onboarding, training, and ongoing sales and technical enablement.
  • Equip partners with the tools, resources, and messaging needed to position and sell DDN effectively.
  • Advocate for partner needs internally to ensure frictionless access to support, programs, and incentives.
  • Leverage and refine partner playbooks, tools, and templates to drive consistency and success.

Program Execution & Market Influence

  • Align partner activities with DDN's broader go-to-market and channel strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing to support joint campaigns, partner events, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Represent DDN at industry and partner-facing events to elevate visibility and build mindshare.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in channel sales, strategic account management, or partner development within IT infrastructure, storage, or cloud.
  • Demonstrated success managing a focused portfolio of high-value VARs with measurable revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the VAR operating model, sales motions, and how to drive joint success.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise storage, AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and unstructured data.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and executive engagement skills.
  • Track record of creating strategic account plans and delivering partner-led growth.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
