GENERAL FUNCTION

The Marketing Manager manages multiple marketing projects, ensuring that brand strategies are implemented against the needs of the business and the overall brand. Key aspects of this position include strategic thinking, consumer understanding, industry benchmarking, cross-functional project planning and management, analysis.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Partners with Marketing leadership to develop strategy based on in-depth understanding of the consumer, the business needs and the category.
  • Plan, manage and execute all local marketing initiatives. Focus on initiatives that drive traffic and sales based on various needs by store. Includes all LensCrafters marketing channels, as well as local opportunities in malls and in communities.
  • Manage local marketing budget.
  • Collaborates with leadership and brand cross-functional teams (including multiple marketing teams, cross-functional teams, shared services and various external agencies) to deliver consumer-centric, best-in-class in-marketing for LensCrafters.
  • Consumer Activations and Local Commercial activities: Leads, plans and executes with excellence consumer activations with multiple internal and external teams and agencies.
  • Project Management: Manages several brand-focused projects concurrently.
  • Marketing/Business Analysis. Conducts post-campaign analysis, identifies and recommends opportunities to enhance current and future marketing initiatives.
  • Personal development/building the organization: Invests in own development by seeking out formal and informal training opportunities; develops others through clear and constructive feedback; shares learning and skills acquired.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of experience where the desired knowledge and skills have been developed and demonstrated In-depth marketing knowledge
  • 3+ years of retail experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with a variety of team members and levels in a matrix organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience gaining alignment to ideas at all levels.
  • Strong analytic skills with experience in developing marketing plans by integrating consumer research and a variety of data types and sources
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills with a clear focus on results in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Pay Range: 105,281.60-159,390.00

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
