Genesis10 is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer with our financial services client in New York, NY. This is a twelve-month contract position requiring 3 days a week onsite. Summary and Responsibilities: Work with onshore business teams to develop software new applications and enhancements. Unit test the solution and document the implemented design, procedures and manuals for the final software solution. Resolve production support issues and coordinate release of new applications and enhancements. Required Skills: 1-3 years of Ruby on Rails programming experience object-oriented programming SQL databases (Postgres, Oracle) Git/Gitlab, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes Bachelor's degree Preferred Skills: 3-5 years of Ruby on Rails programming experience Java, object-oriented programming SQL databases (Postgres, Oracle), RESTful api development, servce-oriented design, microservices, Pub/Sub (messaging) This position pays $75/hr -$80/hr W2 depending on experience If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!
