The EA Experiences Business Operations function is part of the Office of the CXO and has been established to strengthen business unit operations and planning. We lead the strategic activities that drive focus for Experiences goals & key initiatives and unlock the power of cross-team collaboration. These deliver breadth for XO through expertise in business planning, people & culture enablement, strategic workforce planning, employee communications, billing and operations to scale the application of these bodies of work across the organization.

As the Project Manager for EA Experiences, you will partner with a cross-functional group of stakeholders to organize, plan, coordinate and oversee operations on Business Operations projects end-to-end. You will drive timeline development, ensure on-schedule progress, set up and facilitate project forums. To be successful in this role, you are able to work autonomously and independently to plan and manage and execute complex programs and workstreams, identify gaps and solve blockers and lead clear and timely stakeholder engagement along the way.

You'll get to work with a range of experienced, passionate and diverse people across the organization and report to the Director, Operations, EA Experiences.

This role is hiring for Hybrid work in our Vancouver and Austin offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale cross-functional and global projects, including vendor teams

  • Develop and maintain project plans and track plan progress, including risk mitigation

  • Set and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues

  • Mentor team members as part of being a center of excellence for project management

  • Communicate project status reports to project teams, program owners and leadership staff

  • Conduct project retrospectives, learnings and project closures

  • Work with Business Operations program owners to prioritize and manage work within the product line

  • Establish and apply best practices and processes.

A successful Project Manager has applied knowledge of the following and enjoys flexibility to apply them as required:

  • Project life cycles

  • Project Management standards and practices

  • Using data to build a business case

  • Project prioritization and backlog management

  • Practice of Consultation

  • Different approaches to project prioritization

  • Agile and Waterfall methodologies

  • Risk and dependency tracking and mitigation

  • PPM tools and their implementation in our environment

Capabilities:

  • Consolidate information and data into recommendations that drive decision making

  • Focus on delivering successful project outcomes as part of cross-functional project pods

  • Effectively present to Business Operations Leadership and Extended Leadership team

  • Scope and propose the work needed for new engagements

  • Proactively offer recommendations for process improvements

  • Stay calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment

  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing business models and organizational structures

  • Be proactive and solution-oriented

  • Work effectively across multiple global time zones

Experience

  • Successfully managed multiple large-scale concurrent projects

  • Fluency in business tools such as: Google Suite, Jaas, and Airtable

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $89,300 - $123,000 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
