As a Security Professional - Industrial Rounds in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

In a manufacturing and industrial location, our Security Officers are tasked with monitoring designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine checks and maintaining a visible presence to promote a secure environment. You will interact with individuals on-site, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This role requires at least one year of experience in a similar field, and while a security license is preferred, it is not mandatory. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• CA-SP Registration-AUS translates to a California Security Professional Guard Card requirement.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
