Senior Analyst, Operational Excellence

Venable LLP's Technology & Innovation Group, Venable Blue Team, seeks a Senior Analyst, Operational Excellence who resides in the New York and Washington, D.C. regions. This is a non-attorney position.

The Senior Analyst, Operational Excellence will be responsible for the continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives. This role will support cross-department collaboration by managing process workflow and systems improvement projects. The Senior Analyst, Operational Excellence will design, document, and improve effective business processes as well as, monitor and identify operational pain points and issues, conduct root cause analyses and implement fixes. The work of the Senior Analyst, Operational Analyst will be fast-paced, dynamic, and impactful.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provide hands-on support in executing strategic goals and road mapping, and oversight and guidance to key stakeholders.
• Drive senior leadership reporting, cultivate trusting relationships, and engage stakeholders across the program.
• Design, develop, and deploy data driven program performance and efficiency metrics and dashboards that communicate key analytical findings, outcomes, and insights to business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• B.A. or B.S. degree required; Master's degree (or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience within strategy & operations, project management, product management, analytics, or related fields.
• Consistent track record to use collect, synthesize, analyze, and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace required.
• Ability to consistently deliver quality outputs in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, highly determined, and results-oriented.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for both VP-level stakeholders as well as mid-level stakeholders.
• Executive presence and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across numerous stakeholders.
• Critical thinking and ability to perform well under pressure and ambiguous situations.
• Experience writing SQL statements to retrieve, insert, update, and delete data from a database preferred.
• Six Sigma Certification (minimum Yellow Belt) and/or PMP Certification preferred.

The salary range for Senior Analyst, Operational Excellence positions is $80,000 - $110,000 per year. This is the minimum and maximum salary that Venable in good faith believes at the time of this posting that it is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on individual candidate qualifications and location.
