Job Description

The Quality Control Scheduler/Coordinator role supports the clinical and commercial Quality Control testing groups associated with internal cell and genetic therapy manufacturing. This role is responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining QC testing schedules associated with development, in-process, release, and stability testing of internal manufacturing and process development activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Builds and Maintains QC Schedules including, but not limited to, routine testing, instrument maintenance, laboratory readiness, and validation activities
  • Collaborates within QC and across functions with key stakeholders such as Manufacturing, PD, and Facilities to integrate testing schedules with overall productions plans.
  • Build and lead KPI dashboards/ visual displays that support the tier meeting structure.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and written skills with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment, manage priorities, and maintain timelines for multiple projects.
  • Demonstrates sound understanding of relevant Quality Control laboratory activities
  • Demonstrates ability to understand manufacturing processes and how they relate to Quality control
  • Demonstrates knowledge of cGMP's as related to materials management and clinical manufacturing

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, manufacturing or engineering discipline in Biologics or Cell and Genetics therapy
  • 6-8 years of experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience, in quality control, manufacturing, or engineering
  • Expert with Microsoft suite of tools
  • Prior experience in data analytics and use of visual dashboards/tools such as Airtable, Power BI, Smartsheet,etc
  • Prior experience with Operational Excellence activities and scheduling software

Pay Range:

$116,900 - $175,400

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
