THE POSITION

We are looking for a meticulous and motivated CDL Field Auditor to become a vital member of our team! In this role, you will be essential in upholding state and federal regulations by performing both covert and overt audits on various CDL Third-Party Testers and Examiners within a designated area of the state. Your keen attention to detail will be crucial as you compile reports on your findings and monitor performance metrics. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will leverage your strong analytical skills to oversee the performance of CDL Third-Party Testers and Examiners within a specified region, identifying trends and patterns through both covert and overt audits. You will be tasked with documenting all audit findings related to CDL Third-Party Testers and their examiners, subsequently reporting this information to the CDL Third-Party Compliance Manager. Conducting field audits to ensure compliance with applicable testing laws and contractual obligations will be essential. During these audits, you will address minor contractual issues with testers or examiners, recording these matters in their files, while escalating more significant concerns to the CDL Third-Party Compliance Manager for further action. You will also prepare and submit detailed audit reports for each assessment, outlining actions taken and recommendations for future steps to the CDL Third-Party Compliance Manager. Additionally, you will investigate customer complaints regarding CDL Third-Party testers and examiners in the area, taking appropriate measures, and convening administrative meetings with testers and examiners to present your findings and recommendations for the CDL Third-Party Compliance Manager's review and resolution.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Jeannette.
  • This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS), upon successful completion of probationary period.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must hold a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with N and P endorsements, and with E, L, N, O, and Z restrictions removed.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
