Position Title: Machine Operator Wage: $20.42/Hour Shifts: 1st Shift Hours: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday QPS Employment Group is hiring a Machine Operator for a company in Manitowoc WI. Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Will assist in the press areas doing bucket checks and measurements - Emptying of scrap bins - Removal of parts from machines - Visual Inspection of parts - Stack parts from crates into totes following trained method - Will learn to use the various measuring devices and gages - Use of band saws to cut and measure parts for accurate specifications - Will learn to input data into the required SPC system - General cleaning which requires mopping or wiping machines down, will have to work with coolant and oils Requirements for Machine Operator: - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basiMust be able to lift, twist and bend as required - Must be able to stand in the same area or move around for 10 hours daily - Frequent reaching, lifting and pulling with both hands, must be able to go up stairs with buckets filled with casings - Required to be able to read and write - High School Diploma or GED preferred - Preferred a 1-2 years in an industrial service but will be trained on the job QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
