Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a Director of Business Solutions for our Lakeville, Minnesota corporate office. This is a remote position that can be located in: AL, FL, IL, IN, IA, KY, MD, MN, MO, NE, NV, PA, SC, TX, and WI, CA, GA, LA, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OH, TN, VA.

Job Summary:

This position will be involved with mClub, MyVetStoreOnline (MVSO), integrations companies and the sales team for Midwest Veterinary Supply. This person will establish and maintain relations between the Business Solutions teams, Midwest Veterinary Supply sales team and manufacture partners bridging the gap with our sales team on our solutions to practice needs. This person will act as liaison as well as assist in training and contract negotiations for mClub, MVSO and integrations platforms.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Promote relations and represent values of mClub and MVSO to the Midwest Veterinary Supply sales team. Work directly with MVS sales management team to define program and service contracts and deliverable expectations. Participate in monthly regional and call center management meetings and to gain support. Assist the marketing team with launching new marketing programs to our sales representatives and management teams. Communicate all mClub and assist with MVSO and integrations messaging to our manufacturers and service vendor partners as well as our sales team.
  • Identify new business opportunities for mClub, negotiate contracts with manufacturers and service vendors for mClub and MVSO, Manage resources and track success of mClub programs. Work directly with manufacture and service vendor partners, involving other members of the mClub and MVSO team when necessary, and participate in all MVS and manufacture partners meetings.
  • Assist marketing with creation of training programs, including Brainshark training and sales tools, for the iPad and website for MVS sales managers and sales teams as well as mClub and MVSO customers to provide a better understanding of the directives of mClub, LLC. and MVSO. Recruit sales management team to be Champions for mClub, to add input and assist with direction to sales team. Ride along with MVS sales representatives and travel to MVS branch locations when necessary, assisting with the discussion around mClub marketing and services. Represent value proposition, report to the mClub board quarterly regarding our manufacture programs and service vendors.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily
  • HS diploma/GED is required
  • Degree in Business or the Animal Health industry preferred
  • 5+ years working knowledge of the Animal Health industry desired
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, ability to operate a Windows-based computer and data entry.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and problem solve.
  • Strong attention to detail; strong project management and customer service skills.

  • Fast-paced work environment requires multi-tasking.
  • Ability to work long hours as needs arise.

  • Frequent use of hands for writing and computer keyboard.

Work Environment:

Work is typically performed Monday through Friday in an office environment. Working more than 40 hours per workweek may be required. This is a remote position that can be located in: AL, FL, IL, IN, IA, KY, MD, MN, MO, NE, NV, PA, SC, TX, and WI, CA, GA, LA, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OH, TN, VA.
